Football Camp

The Autism Football camp is designed for anyone on the Autism spectrum, in grades K-12, who are interested in learning about football and want to try out some plays on a real football field with real football players.
The camp is 1 1/2 hours long and includes 10 different stations around the football field where different drills are run by local high school football players along with volunteers to help if needed. Participants spend 8 min at each station and learn football skills like passing, rushing, catching a ball, kicking a field goal and tackling a large football pad. (there is no contact between participants.)
What makes this camp special is we make a point to accommodate everyone’s unique sensory needs. We understand that not everyone wants to do all of the drills and that’s perfectly okay with us. The kids are allowed to take breaks as needed and are encouraged to do what they need to meet their sensory needs. Parents, friends or siblings are welcome to be on the field with the participant if it’s helpful.
After the camp we will have an outdoor tailgate box lunch picnic along with an awards ceremony to celebrate the athletes’ hard work.

Covid Statement: This event will be held outdoors. Masks are not required but we encourage everyone to make decisions that are best for themselves and their families.
