Creating and Embracing an AAC Friendly Home

This presentation will focus on how visual support and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) can be used in the home environment to support parents, caregivers, and children on the spectrum. 

This presentation will be given by Megan Hufton, a mom of two non-speaking Autistic boys. Over the years she has embraced her children’s AAC needs and transformed her home into an environment surrounded by visual supports. She is passionate about helping other parents feel confident in creating a home environment that supports individuals on the autism spectrum.
