Wisconsin Timber Wolves Special Hockey Team
The Timber Wolves are an all aged, all gender hockey team in Madison, Wisconsin. Our players range in age from 5-37 and have a cognitive, intellectual or developmental disability.
We provide an opportunity for individuals to learn and play the game of hockey in an environment that is better suited to their needs. We have players that never skated until joining our team and some that have been skating for a few years. Our team is a no fee team and we do all we can to provide most of the equipment the player needs to get on the ice. The Wisconsin Timber Wolves Hockey Team is not just about hockey; it's about building friendships and increasing personal development and self confidence on and off the ice. Our team creates bonds that last a lifetime through shared experiences and teamwork.
