Description of Services

CWC: Medical Short-Term Care UnitThe Medical Short-Term Care Unit (MSTCU) is a 10-bed unit. Admissions include post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic evaluations, and referrals for nutrition or other medical evaluation or assessment.CWC: Developmental Evaluation ClinicThe Developmental Evaluation Clinic (DEC) is part of the Medical Short-Term Care Unit. It offers a five-day comprehensive evaluation service for individuals who are demonstrating memory concerns or a regression of skills.CWC: Intensive Treatment ProgramCentral Wisconsin Center's Intensive Treatment Program serves people ages 5 and older with an intellectual disability and co-occurring mental health or behavior disorder.Staff provide behavioral and psychiatric evaluation and treatment, educational services, medical services, therapeutic recreation, and vocational programming.An individualized treatment plan is developed for each client. The goal is to help the client develop skills to live in their community with as much independence as possible.
