Ages
Autistic Adults (18+)Join ASC program coordinator Angela for a guided tour through the Wisconsin State Capitol building. The tour will start promptly at 11:00 AM. Plan to meet at the information desk on the ground floor of the Capitol Rotunda, located at the center of the building, a few minutes before 11:00 AM.
The tour will last approximately 45 to 55 minutes. Our tour group may see the Rotunda, the Supreme Court, the Governor’s Conference Room, the Assembly, the Senate, and the North Hearing Room (all subject to availability). Some areas may be closed to tour groups and we will not know what areas in advance. The tour will not go into the Assembly or Senate if the legislature is in session, but visitors may observe from the galleries.
Parking: Please utilize street parking around the capitol and nearby parking ramps. Allow additional time for parking and walking to the Capitol Building. Wheelchair access is available at the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Wisconsin, East Washington and West Washington Avenue entrances.
If you need assistance, please bring a support person with you.
