RESCHEDULED: Teens and Adults: Van Gogh Immersive Art Experience

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather, the Autism friendly Van Gogh Experience event that was scheduled for Thursday, February 9th from 6:30 – 7:30 pm has been canceled.

However, the Van Gogh management has offered a new date for those who were signed up for Thursday’s event.

The new date is Sunday, February 12, 6:30-7:30 pm.

Everyone who signed up for Thursday’s session will automatically be added to the list for the Sunday session. There is no need to sign up again.

Lose yourself in the ultimate immersive art experience – surrounded by over 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating Vincent van Gogh’s oeuvre. Wander through entrancing, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color – truly illuminating the mind of the genius. Lighthouse ArtSpace Madison and the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin are teaming up to provide a unique opportunity for individuals who experience various sensory challenges and their families to participate in the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit! 

Lighthouse is willing to offer these showings FREE of charge to registered participants! After the event, you will be asked to provide feedback via a survey, which will be valuable as they seek to develop a national program to support families who experience these challenges. This immersive experience has been modified to accommodate people with sensory needs. We will send out a confirmation email prior to the event with a social story, along with the playlist of the music used in the exhibit!
