Supporting Students with Autism – A training for school staff
July 21 @ 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Supporting Students with Autism will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of Autism, as well as strategies and supports to help them build relationships with their students and better support them in the classroom. This full-day training program is great for teachers and educational assistants who want to learn more about Autism and how it impacts the school experience.

Autism Society of South Central WI Resources
Eligible for Continuing Education Credits.
This training event will be held in the Community Room of the Platteville Public Library.
Lunch included.

Presented by Megan Hufton, Education & Training Specialist for the Autism Society of South Central WI. Megan holds a teaching degree and has spent time working in school districts as a teacher, substitute, and educational assistant. She received her Autism Specialist Certification from UW-Whitewater Graduate School. She also brings personal experience as a mom to two boys in the public school system who have non-speaking Autism.
