Snowshoeing for Autistic Adults

February 13 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Free

We will meet at 1 pm at the Vilas Park ice skating rink shelter at 1602 Vilas Park Drive, Madison, WI. Nancy Alar will be inside the shelter helping individuals get their snowshoes. Once everyone is ready, Jack and Rachel will lead the group on a walk around the park.

The Autism Society will cover the cost to rent snowshoes but if you have your own snowshoes please bring them.

The ice skating rink shelter is the bigger shelter in Vilas Park near the lagoon. It is just north of Vilas Park Dr. There is an access road to the shelter parking lot that goes off Vilas Park Dr. (free parking). Vilas Park Dr. is one way (going east) near the shelter. Enter Vilas Park from the west side by taking Edgewood Ave. east from Monroe Street past Edgewood College.
If this event needs to be canceled because of weather or lack of snow an email will be sent to registrants on Friday, February 11th.
