All are welcome to join program coordinator Angela at the Ochsner Park Zoo in Baraboo for a sensory-friendly experience. The Zoo will close down early to the general public and be open to Autistic individuals, their parents, and caregivers to explore at their leisure.

During your visit, please enter through the Zoo’s main entrance and check in with staff. Then you are welcome to explore the Zoo at your own pace, checking out all the animals. A calming space will be available at the Docent Room for anyone needing a quiet space during the event. Please stop by the concession booth to talk with Autism Society staff and pick up resources for you or your loved one.

Bring any headphones, fidgets, or other sensory supports with you to make your visit to the Zoo a success! Note that concessions will not be open to sell food or drink during the event.

The Ochsner Park Zoo is a USDA licensed facility that accepts animals born in captivity from licensed zoos, or are not releasable in the wild due to injury.

Feeding of the zoo animals is prohibited other than from the grain dispensers.

RSVP below by Sunday, July 27, 2025, for every member of your family who will be attending.

By registering for this event, you will receive the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin email newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
