Aldo Leopold Center outing for families and adults on the spectrum
December 14 @ 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Join us for a day of learning and exploring at the Aldo Leopold Center!
This event is free and open to autistic individuals of all ages and their families.
There will be activities for all age levels that focus on weather and climate. You can visit a replica of Aldo Leopold’s shack, make a weather/nature journal, collect and record weather information using a variety of tools, view weather science on a sphere and go on a green building tour. The activities will be set up as a rotation so you can do them at your own pace. While most activities will take place indoors, participants have the option of exploring outside as well so please dress accordingly.
We will provide light refreshments. Please RSVP below so that the Aldo Leopold Nature Center will know how many people to plan for.
