Ice Age Trail Walk – A Janesville AUsome Social Group Activity
September 14, 2019 @ 1:00 PM
We will walk a different section this year, for a 30-40 min walk. It is paved and relatively flat, mostly shaded with a ground covering of pine needles along the way. We will walk a little into the Prairie Restoration area with tall grasses and bird houses along the side of the path. Note: There are NO BATHROOMS on the path. After the walk we will get to an ice cream treat @ Dairy Queen, using the remainder of money from the American Family Steve Stricker Grant. Come on out & get some exercise and social time !!!!
We will meet at the intersection of Greendale & Ruger Ave, Janesville. Since there is road construction in the area, if you are coming from the north, it is best to travel down Wright Rd & make a right onto Ruger. The intersection is 2 blocks down on the right, across from the side of Janesville Community Day Care Center.
