Football Camp 10th Anniversary

We are excited to celebrate 10 years of Football Camp this year! 

Football camp is a fun and interactive event where school age children (K-12th grade) who have Autism get to practice football drills, learn new skills, and have fun with real football players on a real football field. At the end of the day, participants are joined by their family members for a picnic and awards ceremony. 

Join us in learning a variety of football skills such as passing, rushing, catching a ball, kicking a field goal, and tackling a large football pad (there is no contact between participants). Participants will spend 6 minutes at 10 different stations set up around the football field with volunteer football players assisting at each station. Participants will be placed into groups according to their age. 

What makes this camp special is that we make a point of accommodating everyone’s unique sensory needs. We understand that not everyone wants to do all the drills and that is perfectly okay! The kids are allowed to take breaks as needed and are encouraged to do what they need to meet their sensory needs. A parent, guardian, or helper is welcome to join your child on the field. 

Please be prepared to be outside and dress according to the weather. In the event of rain, the football drill stations will be moved indoors to the school gym. 

A reminder that no food or drinks are allowed within the track area. Only water is permitted on the football field. 

Parking

Parking is available in the lot behind the school, follow the driveway to the right. Upon arrival at the field, the registration table will be located on the track. 

Registration

1. Register your child (if more than one will be attending camp, please register each child individually)
2. Select the t- shirt size for the football camp participant
3. Read the accident waiver and check your agreement to it.
4. Please let us know of any food allergies or if a gluten free meal option is needed

The deadline to register is Sunday, September 29th.
