Explore Adaptive Bikes

June 28 @ 2:00 pm 3:30 pm

Free

Interested in bicycling but not sure what’s possible? Join us Saturday, June 28, to try out a variety of adaptive cycles, from sleek recumbents to side-by-side tandem trikes. We are proud to partner with local nonprofit Madison Adaptive Cycling for a fun opportunity for Autistic kids aged 12-17 years old.

Volunteers from Madison Adaptive Cycling will be available to help ensure your child will be on the correct adaptive bike to meet their needs. If your child finds a bike that is a good fit, Madison Adaptive Cycling will provide you with information about finding funding to purchase the bike!

NOTE: This is not a learn to ride event. It is an event to find the right type of adaptive bike for your child.

Please be aware that this will be an outside event (or in a covered parking ramp if there is rain) and plan accordingly with sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, water bottles, etc., for being outdoors. There will be access to bathrooms during the event. If your child has a bike helmet, please bring it with you for the event.

Register your child below by Thursday, June 26th.

By registering for this event, you will receive the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin email newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
