Autism Acceptance Day at the Capitol

Mark your calendars and make your voice heard! The Autism Society Affiliates in Wisconsin invite you to Autism Acceptance Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the Assembly Parlor of the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison.

This annual event kicks off Autism Acceptance Month, bringing together advocates, families, and community members to celebrate and promote Autism Acceptance. Attendees will hear brief remarks from Autistic individuals, family members and legislators, including Representative Sheila Stubbs, and witness the presentation of the official Autism Acceptance Month proclamation.

Autism Acceptance Day is open to the public, and we encourage individuals and families to attend to show support and engage with lawmakers. Your presence helps amplify the voices of autistic individuals and their families across Wisconsin.
