Annual Community Picnic

Come join us for our annual Autism Community Picnic! 

This month please join us as we come together to celebrate our Autism community with some summertime fun at Westmorland Park. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever with even more fun events planned.  We can’t wait to see you all there!  

Activities for All Ages include:

• 2 Bounce Houses: jump, bounce, and laugh in our exciting inflatable bounce houses! Make sure you sign your family up for a time slot. (see instructions below)
• Yard Games: engage in friendly competition with classic yard games like cornhole, Connect 4, and more.
• Bubbles and Chalk: for some sensory fun and decorating the sidewalk
• Table Games: enjoy a friendly game of card, dominos, or Yahtzee away from the commotion.
• Arts and Crafts: get creative at our arts and craft station 
• Kona Ice and lunch catered by Hy-Vee 
• Kick off to our T-shirt decorating contest
• Recognition for our volunteers and the 2024 college scholarship winner! 

Please RSVP for the picnic below for each person who will be attending; the deadline to register is August 19, 2024.

Again this year we will have 2 bounce houses for twice the fun! In order to make the experience sensory friendly each family will be able to sign up for a private 10min session in the bounce house. The slots will be available on a first come first serve basis through our website. From previous years, we know this is a very popular activity and we imagine the spots will fill up fast again this year. Don’t delay in signing up for your spot!
